Chestnut variations include a dark red to a light reddish tan color. Models have a broken stripe or a star. Early releases had no mold stamp, but then the round Breyer Molding Co Copyright Stamp was added.
In 1975, this model was part of the Classic Thoroughbreds set #6124 and available through Sears. The set included the regular run versions of Kelso, Man O’ War, and Swaps. Also in 1975, this model was available separately through JC Penney.
