Swaps

Chestnut with star and one or two socks. The star can vary in size and shape. Early releases had no mold stamp, then the round Breyer Molding Co stamp was added, and some models have the B Stamp. Originally sculpted by Maureen Love for the Hagen-Renaker Company as a portrait of the famous Racehorse.

In 1975, this model was part of the Classic Thoroughbreds set #6124 and available through Sears. The set included the regular run versions of Kelso, Man O’ War, and Swaps. Early releases had no mold stamp, then the round Breyer Molding Co stamp was used.

Sold through Sears in 1982 as a single model (49N21045) or with Racing tack (49N21055).
